INVALID POINTER ERROR

This is ridiculous! I was going around Coke Street getting free smegas, when suddenly I d/c'ed with the message

Error -2417416261 Invalid Pointer

That wasn't the exact number, but it was some big number.
Every time afterwards I try to play, it's fine until I select character. It crashes half a second into the game, and I get the same error message.

My friend can get on perfectly well, wdf is this????
