Opening Times

So that everyone has a fair chance of downloading, what with the time differences and things.

When the download is released, the server wont then be open for another 5 hours. This way everyone will have the download ready and the race to 250 will be very fair.

Sorry if this has caused problems for anyone.

what if its released when i go to sleep and i wake up over 5 hours later?

wow... if the link were avalible now, i could play @7pm... and im in california... can you make it 2 hours or something?

Realistically its fair if its immediately released. Because of the different timezones eventually someone in one timezone will be sleeping while the other is awake and everyone has things they need to do. Releasing it 5 hours later could possibly be unfair. For those that could actually download the program when its released will have to wait 5 hours. Potentially time to go to sleep or do other things. I honestly think this is a biased decision that someone conned Cory into doing because they enjoy QQing so much.

I agree. I think ultimately this decision was made in the interest of oneself and they should understand everyone has to sleep and things they need to do so they should just let it be.

I dont mind it, if its 5 hours then it wont be open until about 4am-6am my time so its not exactly the most convenient but it means everyone will have time to download.

No matter what you do the release will always be at advantage to some because of there time zones/ playing times.

You may as well just release it as usual.

I understand that but I am pretty sure a vast majority of the players would prefer it right now. The ones that plan on being super active. So lets please them over the casual players that only play a couple hours a day that will never hit 250 anyway ok? ^_^

Its not fair to do things for certain players and not others, things have to be done in a FAIR way.
