ofcourse this is only my crazy assumption, but the situation and even the fact that you Atsu are giving us the message rather then the owner (nothing against you, its just like Obama would sent his secretary to speak with the nation instead of himself, if you catch my drift) makes me think that this is what Meow thinks atm.

I think its the patcher host being stopped and he doesnt think we can be successful without wz edit patching i think, this is only what i THINK not a for sure thing.

i wouldnt give up just like that =\ yes... patcher failing is a big turn down but oh well. lifes goes on. many ingame features can be done and improved and customised without need of wz editing. if he hasnt just become tired of all this. but as you can see hes not alone. giving up now is like saying "bah, i cant make it" being 10 meters before the finish line... =\

I think things can be done like custom quests and custom shops and stuff without editing wz just yet, but he doesnt believe me :/

i can name you like billion of things that makes the game custome and unique without even TOUCHING the wz files. BAH
new types of items, edited mobs, changed places, custome items synthesis, custome bosses, rare artifacts, custome progress, reward system, achivment system... i have this all in my head and like tons of more.
and i am a payed game designer (currently jobless xD but still ive been game designing for over 2 years). theres like idk, TOOOOOOOOONS of materials to be made. and posibilities and ways. bah. fuck, i got head overloaded with ideas but i lack the skills to move the stuff from my brain into reality. he got the skills and he claims that aside from wz edits hes OUT OF IDEAS???? then please borrow me his skills and i can do stuff myself ><

As you will notice, MeowMS is no longer accessible to normal players. This is because the previous version that was available to the public was filled with capitalist ideals. We are now completely re-doing the inventory and item system to accommodate it to the glorious communist system.

This news post appears to been made by MeowMixer, but this is the case: your former administrator joined our cause without hesitation! He was willing to hand over to us all accounts and passwords to serve our noble cause! We can assure you that we never applied any torture or violent interrogation to obtain these passwords. The reason why your administrator currently isn't on the Forum, is that he is too exhausted of all the excellent work he has been doing for the Socialist Revolution! He is currently recovering in one of our excellent socialist training centres, of which we can't give you the exact location, because of various reasons.

Soon, our Soviet MapleStory coders will release a new version in the spirit of the great Marx and Lenin! This will end the days of the capitalist NE卍ON pigs! Items and EXP will be divided equally amongst the players! The new content will be taken away to ensure this! The server's leaders will however keep their new content to ensure the process is fair. After all, some of us are more equal than others.
The Forum moderating will be done by my fellow Comrades Eugene Smith and his assistant Igor Brezhnekov! They will make sure the Revolution will be a complete success!

I just noticed the new patch, and then i get home only to find out that meowms is closing, right as im about to rejoin...

Just thought I'd mention this. Stalin is an evil bitch, he supports anti-socialist causes! We must remove said asshole and feed him to the Flying Spaghetti monster as tribute.

side note. i wait 2 whole year to see some one who will finaly have the guts to redesigne and redifine whta maplestory is. its my biggest dream. i am fed up with servers who just leech GMS ideas instead of real re-creating the maple story. i mean - damn all the tools are there. you just need to use them! what doesnt evole - dies. dinosaurs knows that the best lol.
